BIO
Before becoming an Acupuncturist and Herbalist, Marie pursued a career in health with her undergraduate studies in Biology at the University of Colorado at Boulder and through her work on a public health project providing health care to impoverished communities in the Dominican Republic. Marie received her Masters in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from New England School of Acupuncture where she was afforded the opportunity to work at Boston Medical Center and The Dimock Community Health Center.
PHILOSOPHY
Marie became drawn to Chinese medicine due to its focus on treating causes of health problems rather than symptoms. Marie sees the benefits of choosing Chinese medicine as a complement to conventional Western practices. Its also very important to her to involve her patients in their healing process, and to empower them with information to make educated decisions about their own health. Marie is especially passionate about providing holistic prenatal care to expectant moms. Her clinical experience also includes treatment for pain conditions, infertility, digestive and emotional disorders and myriad other common ailments. Marie is a knowledgeable, compassionate, and intuitive health care provider.

INTERESTING FACTS:Marie loves spending time with her husband and son while reconnecting with her South Shore roots. She is expecting her second baby in the New Year. Yoga and walking in the woods are two of her favorite things. |
