BIO
Monica practices a balanced and gentle form of Asian Medicine, combining Chinese and Japanese acupuncture therapies and incorporating dietary and lifestyle recommendations into her treatment plan. She uses these techniques to treat a variety of health conditions including gynecological, musculoskeletal, and digestive disorders. In addition to practicing acupuncture, Monica is a clinical research assistant at the New England School of Acupuncture and Harvard Medical School’s Osher Institute where she is involved in clinical trials studying the effect of acupuncture on a variety of women’s health conditions, including dysmenorrhea and endometriosis. 

PHILOSOPHY
Monica believes in the importance of engaging her patients in their own healing process in order to facilitate and encourage optimum health.  To this end, she is committed to sharing her knowledge of the philosophies of acupuncture and Chinese Medicine with her patients.
