CranioSacral Therapy
A gentle method of stimulating your own natural healing mechanisms to dissipate the negative effects of stress on your central nervous system. The CranioSacral system consists of the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord. It extends from the bones of the skull, face and mouth, which make up the cranium, down to the sacrum, or tailbone area.

Reiki (pronounced “ray-key”)
This light touch therapy is a non-intrusive, healing where energy emanates through the hands of a Reiki Practitioner. The practitioner places their hands on the client’s body for 3-5 minutes, alternately covering 10-12 positions over the body. Reiki addresses both chronic and acute conditions, promoting balance within all the body’s systems including the mind and emotions. Reiki is known to relieve pain and stress. The resulting heightened sense of well-being enhances healing throughout the body.

Herbal Body Wrap
After a light massage with an essential oil, the body is vigorously massaged with Chinese herbs to relax, cleanse and detoxify. A citrus body spritz follows the treatment.

Ear Coning
Originated centuries ago by Egyptians, this specially made hollow candle is placed gently in the ear while the other end is lit.  This is a highly successful proven treatment for sinus problems, sore throat, earaches, Swimmer’s ear, chronic headaches, allergies and hearing improvement.

Polarity Therapy
Polarity Therapy concepts and methods were developed by Dr. Randolph Stone over the course of more than fifty years of practice and research. Using touch, verbal interaction, exercise and other methods, practitioners of Polarity therapy seek to balance and restore the natural flow of energy (ch’i) which flows from the universe into the body through the meridians, chakras, and endocrine glands. A primary focus of Polarity is on re-establishing balance in the central nervous system especially on creating parasympathetic balance. This deep nervous system balancing and unblocking allows a release of stress which permits the body to relax and heal itself naturally resulting in increased energy and vitality. Holding the mind-set of understanding and love, the practitioner maintains this connection and intention by placing both hands on the patient throughout the treatment. Conditions most amenable to Polarity are hypertension, anxiety and panic disorder and Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome to name a few.

Chakra Balancing
Chakra balancing is based on the ancient Indian belief in a series of seven chakras, or energy centers. The seven major chakras are located at the base of the spine, below the navel, at the solar plexus, in the center of the chest, on the front of the neck above the collar bone, centered above the eyebrows, and at the top of the head.  Each chakra is believed to relate to particular organs of the body, ailments, colors, elements, and emotions. Chakra balancing is achieved by careful placement of the therapist’s hands, special stones or crystals over the areas of the body associated with each chakra center.  Many modern therapies like polarity therapy, therapeutic touch, and acupressure have also incorporated the idea of chakras into their own methods of healing. Chakra balancing is believed to promote health by maximizing the flow of energy in the body, much as a tune-up enables a car to operate at peak efficiency.
Balancing the chakras is believed to promote general health and well-being by ensuring the free flow of life energy also known as ch’i or prana throughout the body. It is believed that blockages in the flow of this vital energy will eventually result in mental, emotional, and/or physical illness. By removing such blockages and maximizing energy flow, practitioners are said to enable body, mind, and spirit to function optimally.
